BBC has an article today titled: The companies making billions from the Iran war

1. Oil and gas
2. Big banks
3. Defence

I've wondered for a while if the Iran invasion was actually about driving up the cost of oil/gas to benefit his big oil and business buddies (and corrupt family). There was no clear reason for starting the war, only vague excuses that changed every 10 minutes. Everyone knew that if attacked Iran would close the Strait of Hormuz and what that would do to the world's oil supply.

If windfall profits were the motive for starting the war, will it ever end so that prices come down?
