2. Taxpayers should pay for it

I'm fine with the ballroom. It needs to be 100% government financed though. This last lostie, broken unit, would-be assassin shows the ballroom is needed. But it galls me to think Trump or any wealthy donor will be able to walk into it and think, "I built this."

As usual, people fell into the robotic "I'm not paying for this" complaint rut, giving Trump what is probably exactly what he wants.
