That cost $1.99 3 weeks ago.You are probably wondering why I buy celery? For the crunch in tuna and home made chicken salads. The leaves for soups. One of the few Produce items I eat. Carrots, tomatoes, potatoes, etc., have gone up in price! Small Green peppers were listed for $2 each! I bought a good sized eggplant for a bit more and will have at least 2 servings from that.

I make salad greens last at least 2 weeks by eating a salad every other day and using some paper towels to keep the moisture out. Same with baby carrots. Perhaps I will buy carrots in bunches from now on, peel and slice them.

I do not buy junk when I go grocery shopping. Just the basics and I am seeing things cost more each time I go shopping. And it's just me!
