(2,117 posts)Arizona's automatic recount threshold is .5%. But the election results were 52.2% - 46.7%. Hardly "just outside" of a .5% difference at a 5.5% difference.
Wisconsin doesn't have an automatic recount either. If the difference is .25% a candidate can request a tax payer recount. Maybe you consider .9 just outside of .25, but I wouldn't.
Nevada also doesn't have an automatic recount threshold. The difference there was 3.1%, again hardly close enough for a recount to change things.
Georgia also doesn't have an automatic recount. One can be requested if the difference is .5 or less. But the difference was 2.2. Not very close to the level where a recount can be requested.
Pennsylvania has a .5 automatic recount threshold, but the difference was 1.7. Again, not just above the threshold.
North Carolina has a statewide recount of the lower of a 10,000 vote or .5 difference. The vote difference was 3.2 or 183,048 votes so it doesn't come close to either threshold.
