Hostile and belligerent global policies, especially around tariffs but also Greenland and Cuba, high costs due to a war of choice, police abuse (ICE), racial profiling (ICE), forced detentions and deportations related to immigration/visa issues (ICE), surveillance, and much more. It is not a good time for the US to be hosting the world cup.
