Sovreign nations are not as easy to bully as small independent contractors in Florida or NYC. And, of course, there is no primary backup through the court system where he can drag his feet while his opponent slowly goes bankrupt.
He lied, of course, all those years ago when he claimed that he never settled and always won in court "fair and square." The truth is that he always settled. That was his plan.
He'll settle with Iran, of course, and the "deal" won't be good for the US, but he'll stomp around claiming a great victory like he usually does.The Strait will be opened in some fashion, probably with Iran charging a toll to sail through, and in 3 or 4 months after that gas prices will start to go down again. And there will be a noticeable jump in the number of EVs sold. The cycle continues as long as the Big Oil companies maintain their leverage over our - and other - governments around the world.
Lather, rinse, repeat.
