But we truly have dug our own grave .

I wish that I had the words that could help us dig ourselves out of this mess, but I don't.

77 Million voters decided to vote for Donald, even when he threatened to end our democracy/Republic - and they didn't care.
Close to 80 couldn't be bothered to vote in the face of that threat.
We are now all paying for their choices, not us, but the world, and worse the disease is spreading.

Can't blame a single demographic group because 'all of them' in some large and smart percentages voted for Donald.

Even saying that history will judge Trump offers little solace, the damage is being and will be done.

I just finished reading '22 Cells' about the psych of the leading NAZI survivors - the men that were close to Hitler, in some ways it sounds like Trump's Cabinet.

As Dr. Kelly said at the end - they, the leaders, members of the Hitler cult, were in some ways - just like us. There are many similarities between Germany (then) and America now.
