mutual hate for "the other" and their need to punish the Libs did not protect them from the worst of Trump: his insatiable greed and his callous disregard for human life..

while Trump's revenge vendetta may have been satisfying in the short term, it did not exempt them from his tariff destroying economy, massive job losses, and unaffordable healthcare...the ultra rich got richer/the middle class Trump voter decidedly poorer..

Trump voters had no problem with deporting "illegals" but they did have a problem with deporting THEIR "illegals".. an invisible workforce that digs ditches/cleans sewers/carries bricks/washes dishes/scrubs floors/pours concrete/gleans fields...as for Trump's catastrophic vanity war, the Trump voter only balked when the price of a gallon of gas tripled...priorities!

but these particular Trump voters are going to vote Democrat in the midterms, not because they have suddenly gone color blind or embraced equality, but because Trump didn't shield them from exactly what he said he would do to his/their perceived enemies ...and that's why we are going to take the House and possibly the Senate...
