These were little wins, not short-falls, the candidate(s) actually won contests that were available. The failings of Fetterman really shouldn't seen as overwhelmingly true stereotype of progressives.

OF COURSE we need more people friendly congress-critters to take Dems where they want to be, but climbing mountains of cultural resistance is a long endeavor of slogging on up-slope, which ends in the joy at the topping out.

Currently, there are progressives across the country engaged in contests so steep they might be called cliff climbs, and even when not 'winning', these climbers are setting paths of pitons that will make it easier and more successful for those who follow.
