5. One thing to consider as well

This isn’t Japan 1945, where practically the only foreign presence in Hiroshima and Nagasaki might have been leftover remnants of Nazi consulates. Both Tel Aviv and Tehran have huge foreign diplomatic and commercial presences of over 100 nations. None of them will react favorably to having Israel or Iran wipe them out, not to mention the fallout of a nuke on Tel Aviv wiping out tens or hundreds of thousands of Palestinians as well as Israelis. I just don’t see it, although I may just be seeing things with a optimistic eye.
