Supreme Court Will Review Assault Weapon Bans

“A Supreme Court that has expanded gun rights will consider whether bans on semiautomatic rifles, often called assault weapons, violate the Second Amendment,” the AP reports.
“The justices said Tuesday they will take up appeals asking the court to strike down bans on the AR-15 and similar semiautomatic firearms in Connecticut and the Chicago area.”
“Similar laws are in place in about a dozen states, covering major cities like New York, Los Angeles and Washington, D.C.”
Applegrove: AR 15 shootings make for the most colossal national traumas. Seems that is GOP policy. What is the payoff for them? We know they'll say it is the right to bare arms in the Constitution but that is just gaslighting. Republicans have demonstrated they don't care about the Constitution. So that is gaslighting. The payoff must be the more trauma the better. The more innocent civilians killed the better. The more children killed the better.
I guess if you have plans to starve/see kids die due to lack of healthcare and science you need a ramp. AR 15 is a ramp.
