Yesterday

In another post on another thread, I asked if it is possible for a Senator to cast a vote electronically if he or she cannot be at the Senate in person to vote.

I still don't know if it is allowed by Senate rules. But if it isn't, rules can be changed. Would Rs claim thar a long standing Senator who was once Majority Leader should have the right to vote from his hospital bed?

Then claim that people have visited him and he is conscious and able to vote.

ETA: I just looked it up. No, there is no electronic voting in the Senate. Senators must be present to cast a vote. Beware if Rs try to change that.
