Wednesday

You can tell by his voice that he was confident, and felt he was a part of a community.

Years ago, my wife and I went to a fair in Orange County California. We went on a haunted house ride. There were two skinny, scruffy guys putting people into the cars and running the board. My wife and I are a mixed race couple, and we got into a car. As our car was moving into the ride, I heard the guy running the board say to the guy putting people into the cars, "Patience, brother. Remember, we have to be patient," (he had a southern accent). I looked behind me and saw the other guy loading a black couple into a car.

Creepy.
