There was no naiveté.

Abandon Biden/Harris knew who Trump was. Other "don't support Democrats" knew who Trump was. The "Genocide Joe and Killer Kamala" chanters knew who Trump was. They were fully aware of the Muslim ban. They knew he supported Netanyahu to a greater extent than Biden. Trump had already made his statements on how to "improve" Gaza that did not include Palestinians.

When asked their reply? "We survived Trump for four years before we can do it again", "It is more important to teach Democrats a lesson"

They made the choice freely with full knowledge.
