Yesterday

Trump had to pony up the money himself in order to file his multiple losing appeals. Accordingly, Ms. Carroll will be paid the principle plus interest by the Court, not Trump.

In Ms. Carroll's second case, Trump didn't have the cash to put up the $85 million, (I think that was the amount), in order to file his appeals. If I recall correctly, Trump put up 10% and an insurance company guaranteed (not put up) the balance. If the Courts concur that Trump has to pay what will be nearly $100 million (principle plus interest), he will have to pay the insurance company the balance, (he probably won't).

Good thing he's been disgustingly and grossly profiting as president.
