Of course he had to step aside. I am afraid the whole Platner clusterfuck is adding fuel to the ongoing feud between different factions in the party. Also, a lot of people got taken for a ride, which suggests some problems with the party that need to be addressed. Sinema, Fetterman, Swalwell, Platner... enough already. I'm ready to call for going back to the "smoke filled rooms" of that means vetting the damned candidates. We can't afford this nonsense.
