In reply to the discussion: Are the Feminist / MRA Argument Threads a means to "Divide and Conquer" DU - POLL [View all]Violet_Crumble
(36,201 posts)Don't get me wrong. I like Seabeyond. Where I think things come acropper for her is that as you said she's a prolific poster who posts almost exclusively on a contentious topic, so there's a massive amount of posts from her each day. That combined with (and this is my opinion and I'm not saying it to be nasty) a communication style where I've sometimes had to read a post a few times to understand what's being said and an in-yr-face style is how I think it happens. For example, she told me that one of the hidden posts wasn't actually her telling another DUer 'fuck you', but her taking 'screw you' and saying it was the same as 'fuck you'. If I'd been on the jury, I wouldn't have known that because that's not what she was saying in the post. I suspect she does what I'm prone to at times, which is think something, but get in a rush when typing it and it doesn't come out clearly. So while I can see what she says after the fact, at the time I would have voted to hide the post and understand why jurors saw it the same way
