1. Actually when Howard Dean was head of the DNC, I l iked the DNC better than the DSCC...

Now for me, I avoid the DSCC, and have heard some bad things about it, but in general, I try to contribute to organizations with more stated progressive agendas instead like PDA, etc.

The DCCC in the House is kind of equivalent to the DSCC, and I hold them in far lower regard than any of these other entities, as this group was the tool of Rahm Emanuel who headed it up at one time before he moved on to other things, and has continued to function in a similar way of encouraging more corporate friendly candidates over progressive candidates to get funding, etc. in House races. I avoid them like the plague, and in the past I would advocate mailing them bricks with their self-addressed envelope postage.
