(24,762 posts)5. the cannabis plant can grow perfectly well outdoors without using any electricity at all
sadly, over decades of prohibition, indoor farms with high-wattage lights and hydroponics have become the accepted method of production. i wouldn't be surprised if some of the currently popular strains are too fragile to survive outdoors anymore.
