Either

A) They eject the T / tRump zealots, who go form their own party,

OR

B) The mainline Republicans leave the GOP and form their own party. The GOP, or rather the rump / tRump remnants of it coalesce retaining the Republican name, but the party is from then on not Grand. Could be even more so the Grump Old Palefaces than they are now.
