These guys are bullies ;-/, but they are also thick headed thankfully and as of Feb 22, 2026, I am back!

I tend to do things alone and sometimes that works out and sometimes you have a job at a place where Hennessy is the admin and that man exists to redistribute money from the publicly funded sciences to the private sector. I mean that is kind of libellous and besides that may be too broad a brush so I am claiming it ks satire (I bet it isn’t..I hate Hennessy..he is a dastardly life destroying shmuck.).

I think it is better in this type of conflict for me if at leastat this point (unfortunate as it is that this is on the web, if I continue to be hobbled by these villainous forces that ass Hennessy commandeers…
I feel as spectacles go this is a relatively wholesome, healthy one isn’t.
No creepiness or bigotry so much as Hennessy doltishly destroying society and scapegoating a crazy catlady …that was a slick move by Hennessy. He knows his staged and insincere theatrics do not fool the discerning eye.

One has to use every tool available to outwit Hennessy in the material world following enough rules so that eventually even Hennessy would have to acknowledge that real intelligence is Yasha Levine and Christopher Ketcham..not his creepy Andy Rubin and that Ai god guy Anthony lewandowski, Peter Norvig (everything ) type.
They are even white and male. That is not the criterion.

It is always this machine of dimwitted slow stupidity that is being promoted at the expense of everyone and everything cooler because with that ass Hennessy’s deep pockets, if science fails.. he can just say “Oh it is art now. Musk’s airport cookies” or he continues to pretend to be a democrat (oh come on Hennessy..I can read you like a book as I can read the local attention seeking communist etc.)

I joke about Hennessy. He is actually really terrible. He is much more like the real monster destroying our lives…not a malicious, hatefilled person but a clanker like Hennessy whose stupid willow chips and simulations are not tempered by any serious or realistic concept of “the other”..which I have! I have my short list of conservative male friends in a crisis! Like Tatu Yglonen.
The reason it is funny is, everytime I see one of these guys who is a candidate for conservative but potentially - most importantly - not a creep and may even be not crazy…

In the next backlash, using terms like “gentrification”, “white flight” etc this Ezra Klein/Derek Thompson/Welcome party type in an unholy alliance with the awful Yimby/Leighton Woodhouse/Casey Phillips/Ben Wray/The Jacobin left (there is this horrible guy who claims to be left on Substack - he falsely accused another man of rape/he advocates for coercive psyciatry/he is a yimby - usually when I dislike someone, I find that whatever their putative views, i find everything combines to form a person whom
i don’t buy at all).

And I don’t believe in debates or info exchanges etc. Sounds like a bore and a waste of time. I am ways in a heavily reinforced with MeToo pride zone, with merely some outreach to the belligerent bros that we can fight about other things if there is a problem in other areas. Of course creepiness is too time consuming.

My old workplace at Stanford had really shitty rules that way and it has been worse since so I am figuring out where i put conflict on the table working out the reasonable legal path forward. Because I don’t want to hold things up (that gets people justifiably hated) where worthwhile. But so far I have seen so much worthless stuff, without a clear signatory like Yan Lecun or Ryan Williams (my CS friend list!) and importantly natural scientists like Peter Hore or Henrik Mouritensen, I am definitely not allowing this. I would never allow data gathered from my property be exploited by people like that woman Frances Chance.

I have a different view of free than Google or Hennessy. Like many academics, I do not mind unpleasant chores or new routine ones like this, if
