I can't fine an earlier post, but in addition:

They let FE depreciate their power plants to drop their tax payments to the local schools and cities, then tell the municipalities to borrow from the state fund

They pushed an effort to view the bill as a patriotic way to protect Ohio from Chinese communists

Ohio gave FE money to fix their own damn plants that they left in horrible conditions. The nuclear power plant in Sandusky (Cedar Point area on Lake Erie) nearly lost it's entire cooling system due to neglect by FE.

They allowed a huge rate increase to keep FE's profitability

on, and on, and on
