It is a fact, and a sad one, that some people do see adhering to the Constitution as part of a "Progressive Agenda."

Which actually says something. If they think the Constitution is a "progressive" document, then they must think society should regress to before the Constitution was ratified. Not the 1950s, more like the 1750s.
