Trump's already was subject to a deadline to respond to Smith's filing -- not to the redactions but to the substance of the filing -- on October 17. He sought a five week extension of that deadline until November 21. Judge Chutkan gave him a 3 week extension until November 7. But that extension is unrelated to the deadline to file objections to the redactions in the appendix and does not in any way prevent Judge Chutkan from ruling on those objections, if any are filed, in the same prompt manner she responded to the objections to the redactions in the brief.

The damage has been done. All we need to do now is win the election and he will be going to jail. Ferrets are Cool Oct 2024 #12
