10. I'm guessing mortgage companies will have something to say about that.

If your home is destroyed, there's not much for them to foreclose on but the (now worthless?) land. Maybe I'm confused, but I'm trying to game out what happens when nobody can get anything but catastrophic insurance that goes belly up instead of paying after huge hurricane(s) come through. How do you get a mortgage? Don't mortgages require homeowners insurance?
