I really wish we'd stop downplaying it. Had the same happened to Biden or Harris, we would have been incredibly and justifiably upset.

The guy is a massive dick, but we should all be concerned when someone can get close enough that a presidential candidate was one slightly-off shot from being dead. The SS has to protect those on our side, too.
