...........Leaders in at least one Oklahoma school district told News 4 on Thursday they would not show their students the video, despite Walters telling them they would be required to do so.

On Friday News 4 obtained letters sent to parents by two school districts stating why the video would not be shown in class.


On Thursday afternoon, the Oklahoma Attorney General’s Office sent a statement addressing Walters’ video, saying “There is no statutory authority for the state schools superintendent to require all students to watch a specific video. Not only is this edict unenforceable, it is contrary to parents’ rights, local control and individual free-exercise rights.”
