49. Other than direct orders from the USAG, nothing can stop SC Jack Smith from publishing the report in his portal.

Journalists (and us at DU) will be monitoring: https://www.justice.gov/sco-smith

The attorneys on DU can comment better on this, but SC Jack Smith seemed to have rendered a professional courtesy to his legal adversaries by allowing them to read the report and voice their objections before national publication (which they did).

Unfortunately, if/when released there will be redactions to protect sources and methods.

If somehow Jack Smith is blocked from releasing it, I imagine a staff member might leak the report like in 2023 when someone leaked damaging SCOTUS memos regarding Roe vs. Wade.
