30. Former OBGYN? What about those who are disabled because they survived birth?

I’m disabled because the Dr. on call at the time let my mom labor for 30+ hours and I suffered from oxygen deprivation. But yeah, it’s my fault that the medical staff in the room that day worked hard on a baby born blue to get her to breathe, while her mother was unconscious.

I worked hard to overcome my disabilities, got a JD and a Master’s…..worked long hours until my body just succumbed to early aging.

He doesn’t realize that we’re all 1 second away from being disabled.
