1. What a horrible situation. They did NOTHING wrong. But accepting a pardon implies they did.

But if they don't accept a pardon, they are so vulnerable to Trump's vengeance. And if they do accept a pardon, will Trump let it rest? I'm afraid he won't, and he will still go after them, even if the attempt ultimately comes to naught. Trump will still have put them through hell in the meantime.
