In reply to the discussion: Trump's Meme Coin Has Reportedly Netted Him More Than $50 Billion On Paper in Just 48 Hours [View all]Bernardo de La Paz
(52,407 posts)10. It's meme crypto. Any crypto is only worth what people are willing to accept for it
If it is only limited to maga-verse then it has less value. Some stores/restaurants there will take it to virtue signal to their perceived market / preferred clientele.
Ultimately a single currency, US Dollar in the US, facilitates comparison shopping and doesn't require extra upkeep in terms of constantly checking the rate of Bitcoin to tRumpcoin. Even maga will get tired of it. So there might be, perhaps already are, currency converter apps for such things, but that is in itself an extra burden checking out the safety and keeping on top of conversion fees. Plus giving them banking keys.

YES! And I fully expect it to collapse even more, in price. Especially when they are touting $50+ billion or more
