(24,759 posts)in worth. No way. I don't know of anyone who would pay that much, for these coins, not even Elon Muskrat would waste his money on these non-investment round slugs. The coins/slugs/medallions, whatever one wants to call it is, in the end, is worthless, w/ nothing to back it. No earnings from a company, nothing from tRUMP other than his fat mouth, to pump up the value, no gold or silver, nothing. If you have friends in MAGA-world, warn them to not buy these. I suspect strongly the value will rapidly drop to near or at zero, when people realize that it's not real, just crypto. If the Magas buy these, then I wouldn't shed any tears, they walked into the transaction knowing full-well of the risks in buying something like this.
And, I wonder, will tRUMP even pay income tax on the income earned from this? Taxes on some $50+ billion dollars? Something tells me that no, he won't. He should, though, being these were essentially zero dollars in assets' worth, now worth supposedly $billions.
