2. This is bringing back horrible flashbacks from the first term

like when David Duke did a livestream of himself sobbing with joy after Trump's first presser after the Unite the Right rally and the murder of Heather Heyer, when Trump said there were fine people on both sides. Duke had exactly that attitude: We are SO back!

Then a couple days later David Duke was crying again, this time because of Trump's second presser, where he tried to revoke what he'd said. He felt betrayed, he said, and Trump was not the answer to their prayers after all.

(There was a third press conference, where Trump went back to defending the fine people who chanted racist and antisemitic slogans, but I don't recall any David Duke livestreams afterwards)

God help us. I would rather be alone on fucking Mars than go through this shit again.
