NASA's SpaceX Crew-10 mission successfully undocked from the International Space Station and is headed back to Earth, carrying a crew that includes two astronauts whose return to Earth was delayed, SpaceX said early Tuesday.
"Dragon separation confirmed!" SpaceX wrote on social media. "The spacecraft will now execute a series of departure burns to move away from the @Space_Station. Dragon will reenter the Earth's atmosphere and splash down in ~17 hours."

The Dragon separated from the ISS at 1:05 a.m. ET and moved above and behind the station before a series of departure burns sent it heading toward Earth.
As they departed, the Dragon and the ISS astronauts shared farewells and commemorations about their time on the capsule, including Dragon commander Nick Hague, who told the ISS crew, "On behalf of Crew-9, it was a privilege to call [the] station home."
