I am a lawyer and I was asked about making a citizen's arrest of Pres. Nixon. The law hasn't changed since then. This would not be a valid arrest, and the people participating in this futile gesture could be prosecuted (and sued) for assault and for false imprisonment.

Maybe we'd all like to see Elon Musk arrested, but the grounds for citizen's arrest don't exist in this situation.
