I once worked with a guy who would show up occasionally on work trips with his wife in tow. It was usually to large cities or warmer climates in winter. The problem was he would show up to dinners, cocktail receptions and other more social events with her. It would immediately alter the whole vibe for the evening. We got to where we’d try to avoid having him go.
