3. Deporting a mother here w/o documentation does not necessitate deporting her child(ren) who is/are US citizens

There are multiple avenues under which the child, even a small child, could be spared that fate. In any case, in no way should the mother's decision to take the citizen child with her in the heat of the moment (assuming that even happened, which I frankly doubt to begin with), if someone wants to bring that child back to the border and hand them to someone who's here legally, that absolutely cannot be (legally) prevented.

It will interesting when the time comes for this idea to be tested, which I'm sure it will, and soon. At that point it will be very clear whether the child was 'deported' or not.
