3. No doubt. That is only the headline or "story" because the press wants to be "balanced" and enticing.

Being tricked or forced by Trump to be present during a controversial press conference is completely understandable: it's either underhanded (which is par for "'Pelé's" golf game) or extortionate (just like Trump treated Zelenskyy in that meeting in the Oval Office).

Gov. Whitmer has to interact with the White House to petition for the good of Michigan. At worst, she was fulfilling her role as a governor.

The press would do better just filling the front pages of their papers and the home pages of their websites with full enumerations of all of the stupid or vile or unconstitutional things that the Trump Administration has done or has had to rescind since January 20, 2025. Or they should print whatever Trump has said at any public speaking venue but without sane-washing his verbiage: the gibberish that Trump spews forth while speaking in public is damning enough for its lack of content and sense, but when seen in print, it is beyond jarringly stupid.
