8. I am wondering what the US military generals will do?

They know if they refuse to do what Trump wants they will be fired and possibly courtmartialed.
But they could stand up to him and say no, we are not going to kill Americans on American soil.

And damn the consequences.

Perhaps the generals can stall for time, make some excuses, drag their feet and
hope Trump goes off on the next tangent and forgets this one.
