Issue 1: current ICE gestapo has brutally attacked people on suspicion of being an unauthorized immigrant. When forced to give a reason for detention of otherwise legal person, "resisting arrest" is the common charge, regardless of proof to the contrary, regardless of citizenship or not. Aside from the denial of ANY due process, fighting these charges in court is onerous. For a person living hand to mouth, that's a terrible hardship.

Issue 2: people have been arrested for protesting. Some have been swept up for mere incidental involvement or even for simply writing an article supporting a protest. This is nothing less than a denial of First amendment rights.

Issue 3: the administration has directed a shocking number of asylum claims and green card applicants to have their claims and applications to be dismissed without explanation. ICE waits for them to leave the court to arrest them.

Issue 4: (heavily related to 1) ICE confiscates whatever personal property they want to. In a raid on a wrong address, a family's computers, electronics, and cash on hand was seized. And this was a family of citizens! Imagine having your driver's license being seized along with your phone; now how are you supposed to contact anyone to get help with being arrested?
