... and he made it clear that his wife and family are Dems and always have been. He said in his book that he's not affiliated with any party, but that may have changed in the last 8 years or so. I'd be surprised if Comey himself has any love left for Repukes of any stripe.

I agree with you that Maureen Comey would be an excellent candidate for the Dems.
