I think it will be such a nice contrast if Talarico and Crockett can be civil and have discussions rather than attacking one another. That would be a nice change for the political climate.
That said, I don't believe that Crockett would have a chance in hell of defeating Cornyn. Her gender and the color of her skin. That makes me sad to admit because I wish my beloved Texas would do better. But it is the sad reality that we live in here. If something could change that, I would be the biggest cheerleader.
Talarico has gotten some attention and he is smart and deft on his feet. He can come back at them over the religion like no one else. The uphill battle is going to be, of course, that Cornyn is the established candidate and Paxton is the MAGA. Again, nothing would make me happier than if Texas were to surprise me.
