49. I Doubt They Care

much about him personally. They just don't want him to talk or otherwise be investigated. They want him out of Minnesota's reach. Once this blows over they won't care what happens to him. I mean, he's just a pawn in their game. He's probably safer to them if he's nonresponsive. Or even better, interfered with by some revenge-takers they can then make an example of.
