Integrating unreliable electric sources like wind turbines and solar panels into a reliable electric grid isn't cheap. Ask anyone who lives in California, Germany, or Denmark. Compare these electricity prices to France.

What's worse is that these renewable energy sources are incapable of displacing fossil fuels entirely, which is something we need to do.

How much do you think global warming is going to cost, especially when areas now growing food become barren and the oceans rise up and devour coastal cities and infrastructure?

Does the worldwide expansion of the natural gas industry trouble you?
