I just can’t imagine why prominent, successful people in so many fields fell for it. It is classic KGB. Must have cost billions but they got the goods on a whole lot of people.
Wouldn’t you think that academics would be smarter? Wouldn’t you think that entertainers would be more careful?
There was something that made everyone feel safe, like they would never be caught.
