7. War is expensive.

"World War II cost the United States approximately $296 billion in 1945 dollars, equivalent to over $4 trillion today, representing about 40% of the U.S. GDP at the war’s peak."

Human cost though, is a different number.
WW2 cost 295,790 in American soldiers' lives.
Between 70-85 million people all up.

War benefits a small but influential part of the human race, at massive costs in dollar and human lives.

But America loves wars, as the 'policeman of the world'.
Just overseas though, not on home turf. That wouldn't be fair. /s
