Hungarian parliamentarians stood and sang the anthem of the European Union, Ode to Joy, after Peter Magyar was officially sworn in as prime minister on Saturday, May 9, marking an end to Viktor Orban’s 16 years in power.

Six members of a far-right party walked out in protest before the anthem was played.
