3. I hope my dad would have liked Walz.

He lost his way after my mom died, having remarried
a bigoted bible thumper.

But before that he was rather conservative, but not
crazy. He even voted for Kennedy and Clinton.

I have to think Walz could have reached him. At least
I hope so.
