1. If Trump's policies are truly that unpopular, then how was he elected?

Everyone knew he promised to deport every undocumented person in the country, and that would include DACA and the owners of favorite Mexican restaurants. Voters backed abortion but still voted for Republicans who promised to take abortion rights away. Voters knew that Trump and Republicans would cancel the ACA and thus voted for 20 million fellow citizens to lose access to healthcare and for insurance companies to be allowed to reinstate prior conditions rules.

I do not believe it was the economy motivating Trump voters because they changed their tune within days of the election to claim that the economy was now great, even though nothing had changed and it was still the Biden economy.

Nothing adds up for Trump’s election.
