Brown lost by three points in a state that is about ten points more favorable to the GOP right now.

I'm still not 100% convinced that we lost, legitimately. Even so, I would agree that Democrats failed to stay on their message to the working class, but we failed to stay on message in a lot of places and never were able to saturate the electorate with a full policy brief.
